Space was introduced in 2007 and new additions have been added in the autumn 2008 with a black or white painted shell. The chair changes character depending on its surroundings. It’s available with upholstery in leather, which gives it a very futuristic look, or with fabric which makes it more home-like. The shell is in fibre-reinforced lacquered plastic material - in white or black high-gloss, matt lacquered silver or a black matt soft feel lacquer. The four padded sections provide support and comfort to seat, back and arms. The base is made of powder-coated steel and it swivels, resting on transparent leg ferrules.
